LDR Surpasses Goal for Feed the Need
[Rockford, Illinois] – For the past seven years, LDR Cleaning & Restoration has been participating in the Salvation Army of Winnebago County’s Feed the Need holiday food drive. This annual Thanksgiving-time collection of non-perishable goods gives a big boost to the organization and stays in the area to help local families. LDR surpassed their goal of meeting last year’s donation with an additional 4 barrels of food.
“Feed the Need is a big part of how we contribute back to the community. Every year, we strive to top ourselves and could not be more pleased with this year’s results,” noted LDR owner, Heather Roach. “Not only did we contribute this year’s donation as a company but our employees and subcontractors came through to make our donation exceed last year’s. We’re more thankful than ever for all those who came together and to be able to make this noteworthy gift to the Salvation Army of Winnebago County.”
LDR’s warehouse hosted a large section dedicated to the full non-perishable gift. Photos can be seen on their social media channels and reflect the true depth of the outreach being provided.
In 2022 & 2023, LDR was recognized by the Salvation Army for their generosity to the Feed the Need program. Roach stated how proud the organization is to continue its efforts to help the community. LDR plans to continue their support each year into the future.
